"If you want to see the future of health care reform, look at what's happening in Maine. The Coalition's innovative programs for quality and cost measurement, employer and consumer engagement, and health care payment and delivery reform will likely be a model for the nation in how to successfully reduce health care costs and improve the quality of care for citizens."

2011 Annual Report
Dear Mainers,
2011 was a really amazing year for us at the Maine Health Management Coalition. We launched our new public website, getbettermaine.org, we vastly expanded our data capabilities to better meet the needs of our members, and undertook several large consumer engagement campaigns to help Maine citizens find and choose high quality health care services.
We have produced a video this year to capture some of our members and colleagues talking about the work of the Coalition and Foundation. It is departure from a printed annual report but it allows our work to come alive in the words of our members and others who speak about progress in Maine and where we hope to go in 2012 and beyond.
I hope you share, as I do, a sense of pride and satisfaction that 2011 was a year of notable accomplishments. 2012 will bring more challenges, but working together I am confident we can build on our success and improve health care in Maine.
