Data Member Resources
Maine Health Management Coalition data members represent the health care, manufacturing, retail, insurance, research and development, public, and educational sectors. All data members’ claims and enrollment information are updated on a quarterly basis.
Where Our Data Comes From
The Maine Health Management Coalition’s database includes identifiable data for a significant part of the state’s population. Once Medicare and Medicaid data are implemented it will include approximately 60% of the state’s population. Additionally, the Coalition will have access to a de-identified all-payer claims database for research purposes that will include data on approximately 92% of Maine’s population.
To maintain accuracy and completeness, the Coalition receives/will receive regular updates from the following sources:
Insurers – The Coalition receives regular data feeds on behalf of member organizations from Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, EBPA, Martin’s Point Healthcare, and Harvard Pilgrim.
Medicare Data – As one of only six Medicare Qualified Entities in the country, the Coalition expects to begin receiving quarterly feeds of Medicare claims information from the federal government.
Medicaid Data – MaineCare intends to submit Medicaid data to the MHMC.
